The overriding mission of the Champlain College Center for Digital Investigation (C3DI) is to advance the field of digital investigation practice, with a particular focus on law enforcement and the public sector.

In particular, the C3DI will act as:

• A center of education, training, and information resources for the community of digital investigators, including law enforcement, government, other public sector agencies, private sector investigators, and higher education

• A credible and neutral source of information and services for Vermont and northeast region of the U.S., acting in cooperation with other educational centers

• A means to add value to Champlain College’s educational mission by providing undergraduate and faculty research opportunities; bring industry experts to the area for interaction with students and local professionals; offer faculty professional development opportunities; and maintain activity with relevant professional and educational consortia
