Created in 2006, the Champlain College Center for Digital Investigation (C3DI) has a charter to assist law enforcement agencies in Vermont and throughout the nation, particularly in areas related to computer forensics and other digital investigations. This goal is being achieved through a number of initiatives and partnerships between academia, the public sector, and the private sector.
The C3DI has been made possible by funding from the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and Champlain College, as well as material support from the Burlington Police Department and the Vermont Internet Crimes Task Force (ICTF).
Champlain College is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE)
